We're not a regular shop, we're a cool shop:

Founded in 2017 as a one woman operation, our commitment to quality, authenticity, and badass, one of a kind, made just for you products, Nightshade Designs has quickly become the industry's leading custom shoe designer. Since then, we have grown to a team of three, each working hard and bringing our own special sauce to the operation.

We are proud to outfit the creative misfits - from pole dancers and sex workers to drag queens and burlesque performers. You can find our heels sparkling on stages in all 50 states and over 40 countries. But what if you're not in the industry? No worries, we've got you! We have made heels for fitness competitors, professional musicians, and many secretly scandalous school teachers. Our heels are for anyone with a love for shoes, sparkles, and all things sexy!

When will I receive my heels?:

All of our heels are custom made in the order they are received. We have, on average, 50-100 orders at any given time, so please do expect approximately 6 weeks for your heels to be completed and shipped! This does not include shipping time. Selecting expedited shipping at checkout does not decrease the production time.

In a world of instant gratification, machine manufactured, dime-a-dozen products, we are an independently owned small business with a big personality. We take the utmost pride in our products + the process. Our products are handcrafted with care and love. We are not Amazon and there is no prime shipping because perfection can't be rushed! Due to the number of inquiries, status requests will not be answered unless it is after the 6 week point. When your item has shipped, you will automatically receive an email with tracking information!

Can I get them any sooner?:

Okay, maybe you can rush perfection - for a fee! Want to skip the queue? Rush orders are available for an additional $50. Turnaround time for rush orders is 3 weeks- it is physically impossible to get them to you sooner than that, so make sure you plan ahead! If you would like to upgrade to rush, message us before you order as we only take a limited amount of rush orders per month and slots fill quickly. Items can not be retroactively rushed after the purchase has been made. 

COVID Policy:

Due to international supply chain and domestic staffing issues, our shoe supplier, PleaserUSA is experiencing backorders of some sizes and styles. All orders placed after April 2020 may experience delays and add additional days or weeks to turnaround time. Please bare with us as this is a global issue that we, unfortunately, have no control over. We assure you that we are doing the best we can as a small business trying to operate during a global pandemic.

In the case of delays beyond 4 weeks, refunds will not be issued, but you are more than welcome to switch to a different item that is not currently delayed. Just reach out and our team will be happy to assist you! Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support!

How long does shipping take?:

Domestic shipping typically takes 2-5 days in transit via USPS. When your item ships, you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking number to stalk... we mean, track your new sparkly babies on their way home to you!

Please check and follow your tracking number to estimate the time of arrival and coordinate as needed. Once your order has been shipped, Nightshade Designs does not assume responsibility for the package and will not contact any parcel service on your behalf

International Shipping, Customs, and Tax Info:

Shipping cost and time is dependent on the shipping method you select at checkout. For the quickest shipping option, DHL, UPS, or USPS Priority Mail Express is the way to go! It is not uncommon for USPS First Class International to take 30+ days in transit. USPS will update your tracking information when the package has reached your country and/or been cleared by customs. The customs process can add additional days to the original delivery estimate and are beyond our control. Nightshade Designs is not responsible if your item is being held at or seized by customs. If you suspect that is the case, please contact your local postal service. 

We are aware that international shipping from the USA can be costly. Shipping is automatically calculated by the shipper, and is determined by package dimensions, weight, and distance.  We do not set shipping rates, therefore we unfortunately cannot discount them for you (but we wish we could!). The shipping price shown is the shipping price we pay. If you are frustrated by this, we kindly ask that you direct your frustration to USPS, DHL, or the White House.

Taxes, Import Fees, and VAT vary by country. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to be aware of their local laws regarding taxes and fees. All applicable duties that packages may incur are not included in our final shipping price and are the sole responsibility of the customer upon delivery. If a package goes unclaimed or returned due to customs duties, Nightshade Designs will not be held responsible for the item. 

Lost and Returned Mail:

As much as we wish we controlled all postal services across the globe, sadly we do not. If your package is marked "DELIVERED" but you did not receive it, please contact the appropriate postal service. Occasionally, the carrier will mark your package delivered a little too early and it ends up being delivered within 24 hours. If your package has been marked delivered and you think it was stolen from your doorstep, please file a report with your local police department. In the case of a missing package that has not been marked delivered, please file a case directly with your local post office. 

Once the item has left our facility, the customer assumes all responsibility for the package. Nightshade Designs will not contact any parcel service on your behalf. 

Packages that are incorrectly addressed by the buyer or are returned to sender due to pickup/delivery failure are not the responsibility of Nightshade Designs. When and if the package is returned, it will be reshipped at the buyers expenseUpon arrival to us, customers have 14 days to remit payment for reshipment. Failure to do so in the allotted time frame will be considered abandonment and forfeiture of package.

How do I know my size?:

We do not make size recommendations as a policy, as sizing can be very dependent on foot shape. All of our designs are made with Pleaser brand heels. If you have never worn Pleasers before, we recommend you visit your local adult store or pole studio to try them on before you buy! Heels are available in whole sizes only and are listed in US womens sizes.

Men: Add two sizes to covert to women's. A men's sz 9 would be a women's sz 11. Some styles can be made up to a US women's 14, please send us a message to inquire.

Please note: This conversion chart only serves as a general guide to help you determine the sizing equivalent in different parts of the world. Actual sizing may differ slightly from the chart as the size conversions listed are approximate. There is no universally accepted international conversion for shoe sizing. 

Heel Specs:

6" heel with approx. 2" platform
7" heel with approx. 3" platform
8" heel with approx. 4" platform
9" heel with approx. 5" platform
10" heel with approx. 6" platform

All designs will be scaled to fit selected shoe height. Please take care in selecting the correct size and height in the drop down menu. Nightshade Designs is not responsible for customers ordering the incorrect shoe size or heel height. If you accidentally ordered the wrong size or height, corrections must be made within 24 hours. After that, we cannot make any changes to the order. All sales are final. 

How do I care for my heels?:

Say it with us: no shoe is indestructible (but if you have top secret magic infinity shoe technology, please let us know)! The glitter may have some light shedding upon your first few wears. This is just excess surface glitter and will not affect the look of your heels! All shoes are triple sprayed with a sealant that protects your shoes, but does not dull their sparkle.

As with any dance shoe, the harder you are on them, the sooner they will show signs of wear. We recommend that you treat them as you would any glitter or rhinestoned heel and avoid excessive clacking or hooking/grinding them onto surfaces such as the pole or foot bar on barstools, as this will likely result in damage. Nightshade Designs is not responsible for damage incurred due to customers not following the recommended usage. 

What is your Return Policy?:

All Nightshade Designs heels are custom created by hand just for you. So fancy! Our items are not mass manufactured or stamped out of a machine, so no two pairs are exactly the same. We take pride in our heels and inspect each order for quality prior to shipping. Due to the custom nature of Nightshade Designs heels, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations. Please take care in selecting the correct shoe size and heel height, as once your shoes are ordered, we cannot make any changes. All Sales are Final.

Do you wholesale?:

All orders of 5 or more pairs of shoes and/or boots will automatically receive a 15% bulk discount reflected in your cart. No promo code needed! 

Collaborations:

If you are a production company or publication, we'd love to work with you! Please email us with the scope and timeline of your project. Please keep in mind our shoes are made to order so immediate turnaround is not available and we do not work for exposure. 

If we are interested in working with any influencers, we will contact them directly. We will not respond to any requests for collaboration. If you love our products, the best way to support a small business is to make a purchase!

By making a purchase from Nightshade Designs, you (the customer) confirm that you have read, understand, and agree to ALL shop policies and product information provided on www.shopnightshadedesigns.com. 

All store policies are clearly stated in multiple places on our website. As such, we are not responsible for customers decision to not read our shop policies prior to making a purchase. We reserve the right to refuse business and/or cease communication with anyone who is unable to respectfully communicate with our hard working team.

Of course, you wouldn't do that right? Over shoes? Of course not! Who would? Not you! You're not a regular customer, you're a cool customer.
